I came here with three other friends on our trip to Scotland--one of my friends is a total foodie, and she wanted to check out the Michelin starred restaurants. Wow. We ended up checking out two Michelin-rated restaurants on our trip, and Andrew Fairlie's was beyond phenomenal! Ignore the price when you come here--if that's a concern, then you may not enjoy it as much. But if you go into it, as I did, telling yourself that it's the experience that matters, you will NOT be disappointed! One would expect a rather snooty atmosphere, given the high prestige of the place, but that is not at all what we got. Our servers were all so wonderfully personable, and we truly had fun interacting with them! The food, of course, was fantastic--I do not have the expertise to be able to adequately review it--but it was the staff who made the expense worthwhile! They were so convivial and entertaining, and truly friendly! THAT is what made my dinner here so memorable! Kudos to them all!!!
