I was visiting a friend for her 50th birthday lunch. I was really impressed with the lodge, it was 3 bedrooms. Big enough to sit 12 comfortably in the living room, with a good dining space attached.
Friendly staff, large clean room, food good and well stocked bar, leisure facilities good.
Restaurant menu was not the best also the breakfast was very poor we had to wait 10 minutes for eggs the rest of the hotel was very good
Most enjoyable lunch. Stopped here en route north. Sharing platter had haggis bonbons, sweet potatoe cubes, chicken on skewers and a lovely warmed soft cheese with toasted sourdough. French onion soup was as good as I have tasted. Friendly and efficient service in nice surroundings
Spacious well appointed lodge. Good restaurant and bar. Beautiful grounds with ducks and red squirrels. Ideal for a break.
